I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SKIRT. first of all, it's designer genius. the asymmetrical hem so that it can be an awesome maxi skirt while still showing off your shoes? oh yeah. the fact that it's floral patterned? double yeah. the fact that it was $9.95? triple yeah.

COVETING

I've been noticing a scallop trim trend catching on, and I'm seriously enjoying it. I would enjoy it more if I had more than $3 in my bank account, so I could actually afford to buy something with scallop trim, but I may have to settle for making something myself. I was looking around for inspiration and I found these babies:

I actually gave an inward gasp of delight upon spotting these. I WANT THEM. They are the Chic Shenanigans shorts from Modcloth and they are beautiful. The color, the buttons, the scallop trim....PERFECTION. All I need is $60 more to be able to purchase them...looks like I'm going to have to begin dealing drugs. What I can say, I suffer for my passion.
Also, I'm busy packing and preparing for a Europe trip happening in one more day...so sorry that posts will be detained for ten days.
I'm sure my massive multitude of readers will be crying themselves to sleep, unable to be consoled.

WINTER SUCKS.

sweater: don't know, scarf: vintage, leggings: AA, bow earrings: H&M, rape whistle necklace: VV Boutique, sunglasses: Aldo, boots: don't know

Today was a blah day. Leggings, oversize sweater and some accessories so I don't look exactly like a hobo.
Perfect for binge eating. Also, I love that rape whistle necklace, found at Value Village for just $2.99, which is very good considering Value Village is way too expensive. It actually is really irritating. You go to any other thrift store, like Goodwill or the Salvation Army and a pair of shoes is $8.99 max. Then you head down to the VV Boutique and a pair of shoes is $8.99 minimum. Uuuuuuhhhhhh what the fuck. They know they're the best thrift store so they can do whatever they want.

INSPIRATION

I'm a huge proponent of floral patterns and generally I just like to look like a comfy, sexed up old lady. But lately, I've had a surprising source of fashion inspiration: Ke$ha.

First of all, I LOVE her hair. It looks like she went to some crazy party and got hammered, fell asleep in a bath tub (wait a sec...) woke up the next morning (feelin' like P. Diddy) and left the house without showering but still looking like a hot hot mess. Also, she's wearing fucking gold sneakers. How cool is that? She makes me want to make a pair of denim cutoffs, rip up a few oversized vintage band shirts, not brush my hair for two weeks and then throw it all together with cowboy boots, ripped tights and feather earrings. Oh my God, feather earrings, I want a pair so badly.
Second of all, there is no second of all. I didn't think this through.

NEW BLOG/ HELLO/ I WELCOME MYSELF

dress: Costa Blanca, sweater: gifted, tights: AA, boots: Steve Madden, headband: acquired at a South Korean market
I've been reading fashion blogs for over a year now and revelling at this wonderful world where it's totally okay to be superficial and base your life's joy on acquiring the perfect thrifted dress for $3, or perhaps on the successful use of childish barrettes mixed with mineral wash jeans. Not to mention, as a teenager stuck in one of the coldest countries EVER, who happens to hate winter, I spend most of my time indoors dicking around on the computer. Or rearranging my room. I know, it gets a little cra-cra around here.
Anyways, I've been meaning to start a blog for a while. And today seemed like the perfect day because, well, I'm bored as fuck and it's Friday evening and I have nothing better to do, and because I actually took outfit pictures today. I was just so happy with my outfit today. Lately, winter has been getting to me. I have no inspiration. But today, voila! I literally threw this outfit on and I immensely enjoyed it, despite the fact that I want to wear this dress with sandals and not plushy tights and a sweater. Also, I had fun playing around with fonts and colors on here. I was tempted to use the font titled "Cherry Cream Soda" but then just decided to go with plain ol' Georgia. And every cool blog has a cool unique graphically artsy header, so I made myself a super cool and hip header using Paint.
Christ, I need to calm down my Friday nights. They're just getting a little too out of control.
